Epic news for hip hop heads - Dr Dre is releasing a new album this week and the remaining members of NWA may tour, according to Ice Cube.
Cube was talking to Philly’s Power 99 radio station about the forthcoming
Straight Outta Compton movie when the rapper revealed the news about Dre bringing out a new record.
"Actually Dre is dropping an album, inspired by
Compton. He’s dropping something on August 1," he explained. "It’s what everybody been waiting for...It’s definitely a dope record and he’s dropping it all on the same day."
He also admitted that an NWA tour is "definitely, definitely possible", which will come as music to the ears of rap fans everywhere.
