Danny Dyer has explained what women really want from men in an exclusive interview with JOE.
The Eastenders legend took a look back through the iconic roles he's played throughout his 30 year career but also gave his thoughts on what women really want in a man.
The 47-year-old was talking about his role as Tommy Johnson in The Football Factory when he shared his thoughts on the topic.
He began by saying: "The masculinity thing now is quite interesting in the sense of, if you're too masculine, it's toxic and women don't like it. Then if you're not masculine, then they friend-zone you."
He continued: "So if you go up with flowers, which is how you probably should do, and actually look in their eyes and get in touch with your sensitive side, they'll f*** you off. Let's have it right.
"You want a man to be a man, but it's very difficult in today's age. You want us to build you a cupboard, be good at gardening, change your plug socket right? But then cry at Marley and Me right?"
Dyer got rather animated as he concluded: "And also throw you around the bedroom like f***ing cavemen because then we're getting into realms of, 'Oh it's giving me the ick'.
"But that's the f***ing truth, and you may sit there going 'ohh' but it's the f***ing truth!"
Dyer who made his acting breakthrough playing Moff in Human Traffic in 1999 went on to share behind-the-scenes stories, career-defining moments and shared his thoughts on the impact of these iconic roles.
Dyer is set to star in the upcoming film Marching Powder which is out in cinemas on March 7.
