Corrie fans were somewhat surprised by last night’s off-screen death

Say it isn't so.

Coronation Street fans were fairly shocked by the death that occurred on last night's episode of the show. And they were more surprised that the death happened off-screen too. Receptionist Katy Armstrong was killed off in a car accident in Portugal. Her character was then written out of the show before she headed off to live in Portugal with her mum. After her departure from the cobbles, Foote appeared in BBC's Strictly Come Dancing where she placed runner-up. The actress also came 98th in FHM's sexiest women of 2015.
