Conor McGregor was supposed to make his Hollywood debut in Vin Diesel's blockbuster sequel to the xXx franchise.
The featherweight champion was lined up to star alongside Vin Diesel and Samuel L. Jackson in xXx: The Return of Xander Cage
But his huge defeat to Nate Diaz promoted The Notorious to pull out of filming to concentrate on preparations for the rematch against the Stockton fighter at UFC 200.
It looks like Vin Diesel hasn't wasted any time in recruiting another well known UFC fighter seemingly to fill McGregor's shoes in the film, which also stars Ruby Rose, Tony Jaa, Donnie Yen and Rory McCann.
British UFC star Michael Bisping has been given a role in the film which is the third in a series beginning with the hit 2002 film.

Bisping is coming off a huge win against former middleweight champion Anderson Silva.
There's talk of the Brit, who now lives in California, getting a shot at the title - but he is yet to find out who he will fight next.
It's not the first time Bisping has been on the big screen. He starred in 2014 films Plastic and also The Anomaly.
Back in the day he also played a hard man in the Hollyoaks Later TV show.
