Conor McGregor ‘tipped to star’ in upcoming Peaky Blinders movie

However, now he's got a taste of the world of Hollywood, it's understandable that people think he's not done.

In a recent interview with JOE, fellow Road House star Daniela Melchior said she would love to see McGregor star in Peaky Blinders.

"I would love to watch him do something like Peaky Blinders," she said, saying his accent would be perfect for it.

Even McGregor himself thinks he'd make a perfect fit for the franchise.

"I'd take a whack at that no bother," he exclusively told JOE.

He revealed that he had been "teed up" to star in The Vikings, but kept pushing it back because of his MMA work.

"I just stayed in the fight business," he said. "I'm in the fight business not the movie business."

He expressed regret for "ultimately letting people down" over Vikings, saying that he had signed up to do a full season.

However, he added that he is open to anything in the future.

"Let's see what happens," he said.

Fans have responded to the idea of McGregor starring in Peaky Blinders in the comments.

"Peaky Blinders is perfect for Conor. They need to get him on that series for at least one episode. Maybe a few," one person wrote.
