Chaos on Emmerdale set as four more major stars reportedly quit the show

Four big stars of the hit soap have reportedly quit due to problems with producers.

The actors who play Pierce Harris, Chrissie White, Lachlan White and Ronnie Hale are said to have left the show because of the executive producer Iain MacLeod. That adds to the long list of stars who have left the soap this year, including Adam Thomas, Gemma Atkinson, Kelvin Fletcher, John Bowe and Gillian Kearney. “There’s a feeling of worry over the direction Emmerdale is taking and a lot of the blame is being put on the executive producer Iain MacLeod,” a source told the Daily Star. Pascha Bocarie, who played Rakesh on the show, left due to the major changes on the soap and it is said that many have left for the same reason. Spoilers ahead... The character Pierce is said to be leaving after receiving punishment for the rape of his wife. Chrissie and Lachlan are also due to leave after the death of a family member. Ronnie will also leave the show as part of a cliffhanger episode.
