The new series of
Blind Date received huge praise for its episode on Saturday night. The series, which is a reboot of Cilla Black's hugely popular '90s show of the same name, is now fronted by Paul O'Grady.
It got off to a great start on Saturday evenings but last night's show was clearly a winner with viewers.
For the first time, the show aired LGBT contestants. Celine Dion superfan Alice was given the choice of three lovely ladies to choose from.
Viewers were quick to praise the episode calling it the greatest ever.

A spokesperson for the show previously said that they would be opening up the show to everyone saying:
"Since the show’s end in 2003, representation of lesbian, gay, bi and trans people has come a long way, and we hope to see Blind Date’s move inspire shows of a similar format to extend their remits to include LGBT people too.
"Not only will this send a strong message that LGBT people and their relationships are valid, but it can also enable viewers to learn more about LGBT people and their relationships."
