If the hype around Avengers: Age of Ultron wasn't ridiculous enough, there's tantalising news of extra footage for fans of the record-breaking franchise...

According to Amazon.co.uk, the DVD and Blu-ray versions of the comic book epic are already available for pre-order. What's more, they promise an extended version of the cinema release, as well as the exciting prospect of an alternate ending: Our guess is that Bruce Banner wakes up to realise the whole franchise was an elaborate dream due to him eating too much cheese just before bedtime.
