Ant and Dec share cryptic tweet following announcement of I’m a Celeb replacement

Ant and Dec have shared a cryptic tweet following the announcement of Ant’s I’m a Celebrity, Get Me Out Of Here replacement.

It was confirmed that Ant would not be co-hosting this year’s series of the show following a drink-driving incident earlier this year.

The presenter was banned from driving for 20 months and fined £86,000.

While Ant’s replacement has yet to be confirmed by ITV, multiple reports have suggested that Holly Willoughby will be stepping in to present the reality show this November.

Today, Ant and Dec’s joint Twitter account retweeted a rather cryptic message from a fake Warren Buffet account.

It encouraged letting go of things like “ego,” “entitlement,” and “hate” and holding onto things like “hope,” “gratitude,” and “love.”

This is the tweet.

The retweet is quite off-brand for the Ant and Dec Twitter account, with most of the recent content concerning GSCE results, statements about Ant’s break from television, and shout-outs to unwell children.

Dec presented the final episodes of this year’s Saturday Night Takeaway alone following Ant’s arrest and subsequent fine.

It was originally thought that the presenter would be well enough to return to TV following some time in rehab, but he has decided to take a longer break to focus on his recovery.

In a statement he said: “My recovery is going very well and for that to continue having spoken to Dec and ITV, I have made the decision to take the rest of the year off.

“I’d like to thank both Dec and ITV for their continued support and I look forward to getting back to work in the new year.”
