The Serkis is in town...

JOE

The ONLY reason we’re counting down the days until December is for the release of Star Wars: The Force Awakens.

Another detail of the J.J. Abrams-directed movie has emerged to whet our appetite – the identity of Andy Serkis’ character.

The star, who played Gollum in Lord of the Rings, will play the role of Supreme Leader Snoke in the new Star Wars offering.

Although specific details of the film’s plotline remain a closely-guarded secret, it’s already been speculated that Serkis’ character could be the villain in the sci-fi blockbuster.
