Amir didn’t know about one crucial part of I’m a Celeb for a few days

Really?

Jade Hayden

Really, Amir?

It’s no secret that Amir Khan was fairly oblivious to a lot of things that went on on I’m a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here! before actually signing up for the show.

He had never even watched the thing for starters.

Since things kicked off last week though, Amir has become somewhat of a fan favourite (at least before strawberrygate, anyway).

Viewers have been warming to him and his ways and we have to say, he’s certainly not the most boring person in the camp.

There is one thing crucial to the show, however, that Amir was apparently unaware of until a few days after he had landed in the jungle.

He had no idea he was being filmed in the bush telegraph.

Yep.

Amir thought he was just going into the bush telegraph and having a nice little chat with somebody without being filmed.

Lovely.

Also kind of makes us want to go back and watch those first clips of him in there, to be honest.

Amir’s confusion was revealed by Extra Camp’s Joel Dommett who said that the boxer “didn’t know he was being filmed” for the first few days in the bush telegraph.

He said:

“Someone told me this and I don’t know whether I’m allowed to say this, but I’m bloody doing it.

“Someone said to me that when he was first in the Bush Telegraph, for the first couple of days, he didn’t know he was being filmed. Isn’t that the sweetest thing you’ve ever heard?

“He thought he was just talking to someone and it was just like a weird little, sort of, therapist.”

Incredible.
