A bunch of classic Disney cartoon NES games are getting HD rereleases

Coming to PlayStation, Xbox and PC

Short on time? Well it’s about to get even shorter.

Six classic NES games are getting HD makeovers for PlayStation, Xbox and PC, and they’re all classics based on Disney cartoons.

The Disney Afternoon Collection features some of Disney’s best licensed games from the era: Darkwing Duck, DuckTales, Chip ‘n Dale: Rescue Rangers, TaleSpin, DuckTales 2, and Chip ‘n Dale: Rescue Rangers 2.

Take the ‘HD makeover’ with a pinch of salt, but they’re all going to be brushed-up and bolstered with new features, such as Boss Rush, where you fight bosses one after another, and time attack.

For anyone of the NES generation, this will be a welcome addition to the collection. If you’re new to them, you’ll finally discover the joy of playing TaleSpin.

The Disney Afternoon Collection is released on April 18th and will cost $20 (£16).

We apologise in advance for the amount of work you won’t get done when you’re playing these games instead, but we’ll also be spending all our time on them too, so everything evens out.
