The incident happened over the weekend
Police were called to the home of Megan Barton-Hanson following reports of a house party on Saturday night.
The
Love Island star told officers that she was having a photoshoot. There were five other people in the house at the time.
Police asked Megan's guests to leave but no fines were issued.
Representatives from Essex police outlined the incident in a statement, which read: "We received reports of a gathering involving a number of people at a property shortly after 8.10pm on Saturday 6 March.
"We attended an address and found five people in the property who were working on a photoshoot."
The statement continued: "We advised the occupants that this is not considered to be essential work. Our advice was understood and those who did not live at the property left."
Police added: "No fines were issued."
Over the weekend, Megan's publicist defended the event, which police considered to be in breach of guidelines.
The publicist told The Sun: "It wasn’t a party. Megan was actually doing a shoot."
"The police knocked on the door and then left again after checking. I think approximately six people left who were the makeup, hair, videographer crew."

Yesterday, the Love Island star called for equality in an International Women's Day post on
Instagram.
"I find that women are judged incredibly harshly in a way that men aren't." she wrote.
"Men are mostly free to do what they want without judgement. Women on the other hand are seemingly watched under a microscope."
The model also spoke about her own experiences in being judged for her choices and her appearance.
"Shaming women for doing what makes them happy must stop, especially from other women."
She ended the post by saying: "Let's continue to support and uplift each other."
