Full lineup revealed for Love Island all-star show

JOE

Several UK fan-favourites are back!

The full line-up has been revealed for the Love Island Games, a new all-star spin-off of the popular dating show with an international cast set in Fiji.

In July it was revealed that show bosses were in talks with 100 contestants from the US, UK and Australian versions of the show “including a controversial UK winner and one of the most memorable girls from a legendary season.”

The show, it was reported at the time, would see singletons couple up and compete in different games and challenges as one would be crowned the winner.

Executive producer Simon Thomas previously told The Hollywood Reporter: “There are some little tweaks to that format — it’s going to feel like Love Island — but the things that we’ve changed and moved around, I’m really, really excited about because it’s going to make it feel like a slightly different show.”

The line-up of contestants has now been revealed, ahead of the show’s premiere at the beginning of next month.

Of the 26 contestants, the most (11) are from the US version of the show, followed by the UK (8). It also features contestants from Australia (4) and one each from France, Germany and Sweden.

UK favourites Liberty Poole, Megan Barton-Hanson, Curtis Pritchard, Toby Aromolaran and Eyal Brooker have all made the cut and Maya Jama will host.

A synopsis reads: Set in Fiji, the first season of Peacock’s Love Island Games will bring together fan-favourite Islanders from various Love Island series across the globe – USA, UK, Australia and beyond – for a second shot at love as they compete in a brand-new format to be crowned champions of Love Island Games.

“In this cheeky new iteration, romance will meet reality as fan-favourite Islanders are faced with both team and couples’ challenges, all while navigating dating, eliminations, re-coupling, dramatic arrivals and new competition twists and turns like never before.”
