David Attenborough to teach BBC geography classes for children at home

Say hello to your favourite teacher

David Attenborough has been confirmed as a teacher on the BBC's new online classes programmes for kids. The veteran presenter, natural historian, and all-round nation's grandfather will be teaching children (and let's be honest, adults too) all about geography and natural history as part of the broadcaster's new education programme designed to help children and parents during the COVID-19 pandemic. Attenborough will be joining other well-known stars like Professor Brian Cox, actor Danny Dyer, Doctor Who star Jodie Whittaker, and Liam Payne to lead a series of online classes while schools remain closed. The 93-year-old will be taking the reins on geography, while Professor Cox will be teaching children all about the solar system and gravity. Danny Dyer will be teaching history, which sounds like absolutely incredible viewing and we are not worthy of it. The classes are part of BBC's attempt to keep children engaged during the pandemic and will be available on the BBC iPlayer . They'll also be available on BBC Four and across certain podcasts on the platform. The programme will offer a range of subjects for children of many ages, including those who are studying for their GCSEs and A Levels.
