You’ll need your best form to name all the Premier League captains

20 teams, 20 captains, one big test.

Alongside the three newly promoted clubs, two of whom in Hull and Coventry haven't tasted Premier League action in eons, each of the other 17 have spent all summer working to upgrade on their squads.

To test your knowledge before the first fixture kicks off on August 21st, we've set you the challenge of naming each side's captain for the upcoming campaign.

Because two of the divisions' more high profile captains on the verge of transfers to new teams, and because one club haven't named a new skipper quite yet, we've taken action to make things a little easier for you.

In the cases of Newcastle, Spurs and Everton, all of whom appear set to have a new club captain by the time the new campaign starts, in lieu of an announcement of the new man, we'll allow you to write down either the departing skipper, the name of the current vice-captain, or the name of the man considered by all accounts to be most likely next in line for the role.
