Oh this? Just one former UFC champion drinking the piss of another

Is normal

We will be the first to admit that Fabricio Werdum looks like he’s acting here.

And the former UFC heavyweight champion may indeed be playing up to the cameras so as to appear that he didn’t know what was in the cup he had just been handed by former UFC light heavyweight champion Lyoto Machida.

But this is all speculation.

What we do know as fact is that Machida definitely drinks his own piss so this could very well be real.

‘The Dragon’ maintains that drinking urine daily is good for the body and he’s been gulping pee for some time now.

“My father does that for a long time and bring it to us,” Machida told Tatame several years ago. “People think it’s a joke (laughs). I never said it in the United States because I don’t know how the fans will react (laughs). I drink my urine every morning like a natural medicine.”

Machida’s father, Yoshizo, is a big believer in the health benefits that come with sipping from the tap God gave him.

“It’s like a vaccine you know like you know sometimes when you take a vaccine for a disease, you know you’re taking of the same of what you’re trying to fight against and since the urine comes out of your body then you drink it again, it almost serves like a vaccine,” Yoshizo told Ariel Helwani in 2015.

The Machidas drink piss. We’ve established that.

And it looks like Lyoto managed to convince his fellow Brazilian Werdum to give it a go in this recent video on the heavyweight’s Instagram.
