Mason Greenwood could make his move to LaLiga permanent, with several Spanish clubs interested in signing the forward.
Greenwood joined Getafe on loan in the summer after mutually agreeing that he would "continue his career away from Old Trafford".
The 22-year-old was suspended by Manchester United in January 2022 after he was accused of attempted rape and controlling behaviour.
All charges against him were dropped in February 2023 following a “withdrawal of key witnesses”.
Since joining the Spanish outfit on deadline day, Greenwood has made five appearances, scoring his first goal for the club in their 2-2 draw against Celta Vigo last week.
According to The Mirror, his performances have caught the attention of other clubs in the league, with Sevilla eyeing up a move for the one-time England international.
However The Sun have said that Getafe could even rival Sevilla to make the 22-year-old's move permanent.
Speaking at a Man United Fans' Forum last week, Richard Arnold said the club had conducted a "detailed investigation" into the allegations.
"With Mason, as I am sure you can appreciate, this was an extremely difficult and complex situation," he said.
"We conducted a detailed investigation over several months, considering all the evidence available.
"The evidence presented to us contained important facts that were not in the public domain. I made the ultimate decision as CEO that Mason's career should continue elsewhere.
"It is true that my decision evolved over time, but I believe we came to the right conclusion for all parties. However, I can assure you that we have listened to the feedback and criticism and there are learnings that we can take forward."
