USA basketball superstar LeBron James has confirmed the destination of his next NBA club, after leaving the LA Lakers.
Over the past few months, reports have begun to seriously emerge suggesting the four time champion was ready to depart Los Angeles, after a successful period on the American West Coast.
James will be able to look back fondly on his time with the Lakers, especially the NBA title they secured in 2020, his first since those incredible 2016 feats with the Cleveland Cavaliers.
With that era now at an end, James's next team has been made clear.
As reported by multiple American news outlets, James has opted to move to the Philadelphia 76ers on a two year contract.
Speaking on why he made the shock decision, the 41-year-old said: "I believe I can help make the Philadelphia 76ers a championship team, and I am so excited to energise a new fan base and start this incredible journey one last time."
