Here are all the half-days you need to take to see every World Cup game

World Cups are literally the best.

There is just football on all the time for several weeks, and we get to sit and bask in all the glory of it. We get it all – we are wowed by the best players in the world, delighted by the tournament’s obligatory ‘surprise package’, and inevitably disappointed by England. But there’s a catch: you probably have to work. Yes, unfortunately in our capitalist society you have go to your place of employment and earn money, preventing you from watching football. You could take the entire tournament off work, but that would be using up all your holiday. But if you are canny, and you know what you are doing, with a few sneaky half days you can make sure you see all the games, and still have time left for a later holiday in August or September. That would require a lot of planning though, and you are lazy.
