Teams started using football badges to, well, identify and differentiate themselves from other teams. Over time they have gone from being a few letters to being more complicated, with ships and animals and anything else you can imagine putting on a badge.
More recently, they have become more simplified, due to the fact that a clean, slick brand logo makes it easier to promote a club on the global stage.
But this quiz is not about slickness. This quiz is about Clip Art. We've taken 12 iconic badges from around European football and put them through the aforementioned state of the art software.
