She was walking her dog when she was attacked by the man
A woman who was the victim of a sexual assault bit off her rapist’s tongue and then went to the local police station to hand it in as evidence.
The 57-year-old woman was walking her dog at 4am on Sunday 19 February in Avignon, France, when a man started following her.
He reportedly approached her, before attempting to hug and kiss her while also slipping his hands down her trousers.
After a struggle, the woman bit off the aggressor’s tongue, and returned home.
She then went with her son to the local police station – and handed them the piece of flesh.
Officers went to the scene and arrested the man in his 30s, who is originally from Tunisia and is living in France illegally.
The man, now faces immediate trial and will be forced to leave France.
According to France Bleu, he told officials that the woman had actually attacked him.
He claimed that it was actually her that jumped on him.
The man will appear in court on Wednesday.
