Paedophiles have ‘tried to lure’ woman claiming to be Madeleine McCann to hotel rooms

Paedophiles have apparently tried to lure the woman claiming to be Madeleine McCann to hotels.

Three paedophiles have reportedly posed as friends of McCann’s parents to try and get Julia Wendell to hotel rooms, the Star reports.

Wendell, 21, from Poland, has hit headlines in recent days presenting “evidence” on Instagram to suggest she is the girl who went missing in Praia da Luz, Portugal, in 2007.

Julia claims to have a freckle on her leg and a speck in her eye in the same places as Madeleine. She also thinks she looks similar to Maddie’s parents, Kate and Gerry McCann.

She has also claimed that Kate and Gerry McCann have asked her to take a DNA test.

Persian medium Dr Fia Johansson has been appearing on Instagram Live with Julia, helping her make the claims.

Johansson has more than 9.3 million followers on Instagram and has reportedly helped the US police on missing person cases.

She has previously claimed that some of her predications around the Maddie case have come true. Part of her theory was that she was living with a German and that “one day she will accidentally meet her parents”. The prime suspect in Maddie’s disappearance is German.

She is said to have tracked Julia down to a small town near the Germany- Poland border.

Dr Johansson told RadarOnline that her team of investigators had spotted dodgy emails and messages sent to Julia, including from paedophiles trying to ‘lure her to hotels.’

She told the publication: “It’s very dangerous for her to do anything right now because she has no idea what she is doing and at the same time her family is not very supportive.

“My investigators found out three paedophiles were trying to lure Julia to hotels saying they were McCann family friends trying to solve the Madeleine mystery. It is truly a sad situation.”

She added they told Julia to not reply to the messages.

Maddie was just four years old when she disappeared from her holiday apartment in Praia da Luz, Portugal, in 2007. No trace of her has ever been found and no one has been arrested.

The prime suspect in the disappearance, convicted sex offender Christian Brueckner, has been charged in Germany with unrelated sexual offences. He is accused of five offences between 2000 and 2017 in Portugal. German prosecutors say the investigation into Maddie’s disappearance is ongoing separately.

Maddie would be 19 in April.
