Steven Gerrard is set to return to Anfield as a Liverpool FC Legends Squad line up to face Borussia Dortmund Legends.
The former Reds icon will step foot on the Merseyside soil on Saturday March 28 - as the game kicks-off at 3pm.
Gerrard is a major addition to a group of players already including the likes of goalkeepers Pepe Reina, Jerzy Dudek and Sander Westerveld.
Alongside the goalkeepers, the likes of Sami Hyypia, Fabio Aurelio, Gregory Vignal, Martin Kelly and Yossi Benayoun, are also featuring.
Gerrard, the star of the show, made a remarkable 710 appearances across 17 seasons, scoring 186 goals, as one of the most influential midfielders in English footballing history.
A legend of the game, he won the Champions League, UEFA Cup, FA Cup, League Cup and UEFA Super Cup.
This game comes after the famous Liverpool v Borussia Dortmund Europa League quarter-final in 2016, a decade on.
All of the proceeds from the fixture – supported by AXA and held in association with Forever Reds – will go directly towards the work of LFC Foundation and Forever Reds, as per Liverpool FC.
Funds raised will support LFC Foundation's employability programme, helping people across the community to find work, gain qualifications and develop new skills through mentoring and training.
