Snapchat users will know how frustrating it can be to add new contacts - especially if they're not stored on your phone - but it seems that the days of sending on your Snapcode or searching for a person's username are over.
You can now add new friends by sharing your URL from the "Add Friends" menu by selecting the new "share username" option. There's also an "add nearby" feature that allows you add new mates via bluetooth.
