‘If not today, then tomorrow, or the day after tomorrow’

World War 3 fears have been ratcheted up further as another serious warning from Russia has been made towards the UK, in just a couple of days.

As if the numerous threats to Britain already weren’t enough, a Russian strategist has now warned of launching a strike on state television.

The latest threat comes amid Vladimir Putin’s admittance that he is “escalating” the situation in Ukraine, which his country invaded in 2022.

The direct warnings to the UK by a former colonel

Military expert and former colonel Mikhail Khodaryonok said on Russian television that he would “carry out strikes against the UK” if he was in charge.

“As for the hypothetical strikes against the objects of the United Kingdom’s military industry complex…Britain’s leadership has to realise that sooner or later, they will have to answer for their actions. If not today, then tomorrow, or the day after tomorrow…but certainly in the historically observable future”, Khodaryonok said.

“We have all the technical means for a strike… we need to think about what might happen after the first strikes, in the second and third stages for example”, he added.

As the former colonel was making the threats, a chilling graphic was shown onto the screen in which a map of the UK was visible.

Highlighted on the map were five destinations which over them had flame icons, indicating that they were targets for strikes.

The latest threats to the UK come following the announcement made by Prime Minister Andy Burnham that Britain would give Ukraine declassified blueprints for long-range cruise missiles.

The UK was blasted by Putin’s mouthpiece Dmitry Peskov, who said that it was “adding fuel to the fire”, following Burnham’s announcement.

Russia warned the residents of the UK of unavoidable catastrophic consequences

Russia’s foreign ministry also issued a warning to Britain and its people in recent days, claiming that it could strike British military facilities.

Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova in a weekly briefing in Moscow last week said that Russia could retaliate against Britain by striking its facilities both inside and outside of Ukraine.

Zakharova added that the UK risks taking the conflict to a new level, as she called on the UK to back off its “hostile line” on Ukraine.

“We are urging all residents of the United Kingdom to think about the unavoidable catastrophic consequences of the hostile moves of their authorities,” the foreign ministry spokeswoman said.

Zakharova further added that London was “one step away” from becoming legally complicit in ‌what she called “terrorism” against Russian civilians, something she said that, unless Britain changed course, would have “catastrophic consequences”.
