Piers Morgan labels Disney ‘stinking, woke hypocrites’ for casting of the Seven Dwarfs in Snow White remake

“They’ve bitten the poison apple of diversity and inclusion.”

Piers Morgan has slammed Disney for their casting in the new live action remake of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.

In leaked images from the upcoming movie, with the shortened title of Snow White, seven people could be seen following the titular character down a hill. What was immediately clear from the images, though, is that these characters were not dwarfs.

Speaking on his show Piers Morgan Uncensored, the opinionated host labelled the movie “stinking woke hypocrisy,” after seeing the images.

“I’ve always used my show as a way to stand up for the little guys. Never before have I meant that quite so literally as I do tonight.”

“Behind the scenes pictures from Disney’s remake of Snow White were leaked this weekend and there seems to be a sizeable problem… where are the dwarfs?”

“They’ve bitten the poison apple of diversity and inclusion, which has decided to exclude them.”

Morgan went on to point out that the reimagined spin on the popular septuplet features people of different sizes, ethnicities and genders, rather than the famous depiction of the characters as male dwarfs.

“Disney’s PC reimagining of the legendary fairytale doesn’t feature seven dwarfs at all – instead it’s seven ‘magical creatures’ of varying sizes, shapes, ethnicities and genders.”

“The people who have really suffered in this is the six dwarf actors who would have expected to have roles in this remake, in this massive Hollywood blockbuster, who are now not going to have that experience, the money, the fame that might have come with it.”

“I think this is a real issue if you’re a dwarf actor who’s now out of work due to virtue signalling idiots who think everything needs to be rewritten to be inclusive.”

“I’ve been repeatedly told for years that only gay actors should play gay roles, Michael Sheen said only Welsh actors should play Welsh roles, and so on and so on. But the moment we have dwarf roles, which are the most famous dwarf roles in Hollywood history, the only people who apparently can’t play them are dwarf actors. I see stinking woke hypocrisy.”

Speaking to one of the world’s most famous dwarf actors and performers, Dylan Postl, who gained prominence as Hornswoggle in WWE, Morgan asked for his thoughts on the topic.

“It’s not a progression at all. My issue with it is exactly as you said,” remarked Postl. “There are actors – dwarf actors – that dream to be in a major motion picture such as this remake. Now it’s taken away, and it’s taken away for, quote unquote, progression. It’s not right.”

Postl went on to point out that the roles available for actors in the dwarf community are quite limited and roles that were originally written for them should remain within their grasp.

“These are roles made for actors of my stature. Roles that aren’t ever really given. I can’t go up for the Harrison Ford or George Clooney roles because they are not roles made for me. Now they shouldn’t be dwarfs? The story is literally called Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.”

The WWE star’s fury continued as he reminded Morgan that it isn’t just the credited actors who will be impacted by the change, but also other struggling professionals within the dwarf community.

“Now also think about the stunt actors and body doubles for those actors. Now you’re talking multiple actors of my stature who now don’t get these jobs, and what’s the reasoning? Because we’re supposed to be progressive?”

Responding to the idea that dwarfs being shoehorned into dwarf roles is bad for the dwarf community, Postl was quick to remind the audience that the characters in the famous story are actually heroes and already had their own diverse characteristics.

“All of the dwarfs are heroes. They took care of Snow White. They all had separate characteristics. Seven different characters, for seven different actors from my community, and I don’t feel it’s right that it got taken away from us.”
