Netflix have released a statement.
Actor Danny Masterson has been dropped from the Netflix show The Ranch amid multiple rape allegations.
In recent months, Masterson (That ’70s Show, Yes Man, Face/Off) has been under investigation by the LA Police Department and the Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office. Four women have accused Masterson of violently raping them in the early 2000s.
In a statement that was sent to the Huffington Post, Netflix said that:“As a result of ongoing discussions, Netflix and the producers have written Danny Masterson out of ′The Ranch.′ Yesterday was his last day on the show, and production will resume in early 2018 without him.”
Despite the fact that Masterson has been dropped from the show, the actor will still be appearing in the new episodes of The Ranch that premiere on Netflix on Dec. 15
Masterson has denied all allegations of rape and said that the encounters in question were consensual.
