Martin Zubimendi told he must pay his own release clause if he wants to join Liverpool

With interest from the English giants, Real Sociedad have now demanded that Zubimendi must pay the money himself in order to move to Merseyside.

Zubimendi has played for the Basque club since the age of 12 and the club would want him to pay the clause that equates to £51million at the La Liga offices in Madrid.
