Unstoppable
Luis Suarez was a joy to watch when he played for Liverpool.
Arriving from Ajax in January 2011, the Uruguay international went on to become one of the greatest players in Premier League history before eventually securing a move to Barcelona in 2014.
His final season at the Reds proved to be his best one though, scoring 31 goals in 33 games, none of them being from the penalty spot, as well as registering 12 assists.
Unfortunately it wasn’t enough for Brendan Rodgers’ side to go on and win the title as a dramatic collapse against Crystal Palace, which saw them surrender a 3-0 lead proved to be their downfall as Manchester City swooped in and took the trophy.
Some of Suarez’s standout displays included four-goal haul against Norwich City in the December as well as 5-0 thumping of Tottenham, in which the forward score two and assisted two.
Suarez also struck up a formidable partnership with Daniel Sturridge, earning the nickname of ‘SAS’ and went on to win the PFA Player of the Year and Premier League Player of the Season.
One person has uploaded a highlights package of the forward’s best moments from that season as fans reminiscied on the memories of watching the Uruguayan.

“Never seen another player like suarez, hondestly. I love Salah to death but suarez was a different class,” said one fan.
A second said: “In the premier league I can’t disagree but Thierry Henry runs him close. Salah’s debut season was the stuff of legend too. Luis Suarez is for me the best striker in the premier league era.”
Another wrote: “Never enjoyed watching a player more in nearly 40 years of following the Reds.”
