Keir Starmer is set to give a major speech today.
The Prime Minister is set to warn Nigel Farage against so called 'fantasy' economics.
Starmer will address workers in the North West today after the Reform UK leader unveiled 'uncosted' policies earlier this week.
This comes after the Institute for Fiscal Studies (IFS) said increasing the income tax personal allowance to £20,000 a year could cost between £50-£80 billion per year, something the party has pledged to do.
The PM is expected to urge the public against such calls by Reform UK, warning that it may result in something similar to the workings of Truss, who caused mayhem with her mini-budget in 2022.
Reform UK leader Nigel Farage said that lifting the level at which people start paying tax to £20,000 was his 'biggest aspiration'.
