Former Arsenal forward Jose Antonio Reyes has died in a car crash aged 35, it has been confirmed.
The Spaniard passed away following an accident in Utreta on Saturday.
He had been playing for Segunda Division side Extremadura following spells at Arsenal, Real Madrid, and Sevilla.
He played for the north London club between 2004 and 2007, including as part of their Premier League winning "Invincibles" side. He was the first Spanish player to win the English title, which came alongside winning the FA Cup and Charity Shield.
He won 21 caps for Spain, beginning his career at just 16-years-old for Sevilla, a club he would later return to in 2012 for a second spell, winning the Europa League three times.
The news was confirmed by Sevilla, the club tweeted: "We couldn't be confirming worse news. Beloved Sevilla star José Antonio Reyes has died in a traffic collision. Rest in peace."
