Italian judge rules that divorced dad can pay alimony in pizza

An Italian judge has made the ruling that a father can pay his spousal support in the most stereotypical way we can imagine: in pizza. The father is the manager of an Italian restaurant (or 'a restaurant' as it would be known in Italy), and the judge agreed to allow the man to make his payments in the form of €300 (£231) worth of pizza products each month.
The father-of-two was taken to court by his ex-wife, who argued that pizza was not an appropriate form of alimony payment.
However, the judge found that the man did not earn enough income to pay by any other means, and ruled that he could continue to pay his monthly support through pizza.
