As fears over nuclear threats grow, a disturbing online tracker measures exactly how safe you'll be if a nuclear bomb does hit.

Designed by Alex Wellerstein, a science and nuclear technology historian, NUKEMAP allows you to see the impact an atomic weapon could have on your area.

The tool allows you to select the location of the attack, the type of weapon, and your location, and it gives you results of what the impact could mean for your area.

For example, if Westminster was targeted by a crude nuclear terrorist weapon (100 t), the damage would look something like this:

Concerns come after the US attacks on three nuclear sites in Iran.

Abbas Araghchi, Iran's foreign minister, has warned of 'everlasting consequences' after US President Donald Trump said that 'great American Warriors' had conducted a 'very successful attack.'

On X, Mr Araghchi wrote: "Each and every member of the UN must be alarmed over this extremely dangerous, lawless and criminal behaviour.

"In accordance with the UN Charter and its provisions allowing a legitimate response in self-defence, Iran reserves all options to defend its sovereignty, interests, and people."

British Prime Minister Keir Starmer also took to X, labelling Iran's nuclear programme as 'a grave threat to international security.'
