Rumours of a fourth film in the Frozen franchise have been swirling for months, but now it has been confirmed that it's on the way.
Idina Menzel, who plays the main character of Princess Elsa, shared the news in the absolute best way.
The 52-year-old shared a report of the announcement alongside a video of the late Cilla Black singing the theme song from her show Surprise Surprise.
“Surprise surprise #Frozen3 #Frozen4," she captioned the post.
News of the new movie was initially confirmed by Disney CEO Bob Iger, who told Good Morning America of plans for a fourth movie after earlier confirmation of the third film.
“Well, I’ll give you a little surprise there, Frozen 3 is in the works and there might be a Frozen 4 in the works too,” he said, per The Hollywood Reporter.
“But Jenn Lee, who created Frozen — the original Frozen and Frozen 2 — is hard at work with her team at Disney Animation on not one but actually two stories… A little scoop.”
