Bayern aren't wasting anymore time

The Bundesliga champions have already had three bids for the forward rejected but still remain in pole position to sign the England international.

Spurs refuse to accept any offer below their £100m valuation while Bayern aren’t prepared to pay £85m for a player who has less than 12 months on his contract.

According to the Telegraph, Bayern are becoming frustrated with how long negotiations are taking and are prepared to walk away if Spurs don't agree with their valuation and focus on other targets.

If Kane doesn't get his move to Germany then it is widely expected that he would see out the final year of his contract in north London before moving on to pastures new next summer.

Both sides want the situation resolved as Spurs begin their Premier League campaign with a trip to Brentford next weekend.

The German champions have been vocal about their pursuit of Kane, with president Herbert Hainer telling German football magazine Kicker: “Here in the Bundesliga we don’t have many international stars any more.

“Bayern always try to bring in stars. Harry Kane is a highly attractive player, the England captain and a top scorer. He would do us and the Bundesliga good.”

Kane is within touching distance of Alan Shearer’s Premier League record of 260 goals and currently has 213 to his name – meaning that the record could still be in sight if he left and returned before he retired.
