Banner calling Donald Trump ‘Worst President Ever’ flown near Mar-a-Lago

A plane has flown a banner near the former President's Florida resort, taunting Donald Trump

Banners reading reading "Trump Worst President Ever" and "Trump You Pathetic Loser Go Back To Moscow" were spotted flying over West Palm Beach, near Mar-a-Lago, on Sunday afternoon. Images were shared by Florida lawyer Daniel Uhlfelder on social media, and have been shared thousands of times.

No one has yet claimed responsibility for the stunt. Donald Trump has been residing Mar-A-Lago since leaving the White House at the end of his presidential term. Originally built in 1927 by 1927 by cereal-company heiress and socialite Marjorie Merriweather Post, Donald Trump purchased the 126-room, 62,500-square-foot mansion in 1985 for around $10 million (despite Post originally wanting it to leave it to National Park Service upon her death). In 1995 the Mar-a-Lago private club was established. After Trump became President, the club was used to host meetings with various international leaders,  Japanese prime minister Shinzō Abe and Chinese president Xi Jinping. In 2018, a paraglider flew a banner over Turnberry golf resort in Scotland, to disrupt Trump's visit there. The paraglider's banner read: "Trump: Well Below Par #resist."
