Andrew Tate predicts he will be shot after release from prison

Andrew Tate has predicted that he will be shot as all other attempts to “silence” him have failed.

In a tweet Monday, days after his release, the 36-year-old told his followers that he was preparing his body to “absorb the brutal kinetics of piercing lead”.

It is not known what that preparation includes, but when asked what the first thing he’d do after being released, Friday, Tate told reporters he planned to spend the weekend doing 2583 press-ups to reach a goal – started in prison – of doing 10,000, so that may well be part of the bodily fortification being undertaken.

He’s also been practising walking around shirtless while smoking a cigar.

Tate hasn’t defeated an enemy since he beat up a ghost in his cell, but, according to him, it was a spectacular victory: “I sent him back to hell with a message for the demons. I am always ready,” he said at the time.

Nevertheless, the man who refers to himself as “Top G”, is clearly tired.

Tate was freed, along with his brother Tristan, and two Romanian women who were arrested along with them on 29 December. The Tate brothers had been kept in custody while authorities investigate them on suspicion of alleged human trafficking and forming an organised crime group. They deny all the allegations against them.

The kickboxer-turned-influencer was set to remain in custody until April 29 after the court extended the group’s incarceration by another 30 days, but after appealing that decision to the Court of Appeal in Bucharest, the group were released and put under house arrest.

In a tweet Monday, Tate wrote that he was preparing himself for an attempt on his life, “as all other silencing attempts fail, and stage 3 approaches – I anticipate a bullet will be the chosen utensil of pacification”.

He continued: “I can only pray and prepare. I will force myself to breathe the best I can. I promise.”

The tweet was in response to a previous post from December, in which he proclaimed to his followers: “If they kill me I love you all.”

Despite his supposed safety concerns, Tate also took time to plug his ‘Top G’ merchandise, tweeting a link to his site with the comment: “My arrest and release are one of the largest events in cultural history. Now released, there will be two universes. Choose your side. It’s good vs evil. Truth vs Lies.”

After his release, Tate made a statement, which has been shared on Twitter, saying: “The judges who heard us today, they were very attentive, they listened to us and they let us know, so I have absolute respect for them.

“I have no resentment in my heart for the country of Romania over anybody else, I just believe in the truth. I believe in god and I think that the fire of the truth will destroy all lies and anybody who lies over a long enough time frame will feel regret. I truly believe that justice will be served in the end, there is zero per cent chance of me being found guilty of something I have not done.”

Tate went on to reiterate his innocence, saying: “I maintain my absolute innocence and I think most people understand this. I look forward to being home, so thank you very much everyone.”

“I have no resentment in my heart for the country of Romania, or for anybody else. I just believe in the truth. So I believe in God and I think that the fire of truth will eventually destroy all lies and anybody who lies in a long enough timeframe will feel the sting of regret. I truly believe that justice will be served in the end. There is 0 percent chance of me being found guilty of something I have not done,” he said.

“I maintain my absolute innocent innocence. I think most people understand this and I look forward to being home, so thank you so much.”

When asked what his plans for the next few days were, Tate replied: “When I was in jail I did 7,417 push-ups, I would like to get to 10,000 before the end of the weekend. I will focus on the push-ups and I will read the Quran. Thank you.”

In late December, Romanian officials raided a property owned by Tate’s, seizing assets of which officials valued at around $3.9m (£3.1m).
