Today nearly a quarter of British homes subscribe to Netflix, Amazon, or a different service.
A direct quote from the report reads:
“One theory is that non-TV households are online pioneers who are keen on TV, but prefer to use computer devices to access it."However, figures suggest that those households without a TV are generally less interested in TV as a medium: they have a lower level of broadband take-up, and they are significantly less likely to own a PC or a tablet device.
