Dido's real name is Florian Cloud de Bounevialle O'Malley Armstrong. That is a fact, fact fans. And another fact is that Dido will be heading on her first tour in 15 years, with several UK dates on the schedule. Fans can expect the usual hits - 'Thank You', 'White Flag', 'Here With Me', 'Life For Rent', 'Don't Leave Home', and 'Sand In My Shoes' - but since the 1999 release of her debut album No Angel, she has been keeping busy. In fact, there have been another three full length albums since then, with a fourth - titled Still On My Mind - due for release in 2019. She also, believe it or not, has appeared as a featured artist on tracks for people as varied as Faithless and Kendrick Lamar. Will she also be playing out those tracks on the night? We can only hope. Dido will be performing at Dublin's Olympia Theatre on 27 May 2019, with tickets on sale from Friday 16 November at 9am from Ticketmaster, Live Nation and usual outlets.
