The victim’s sister was injured in the shooting as well
A Subway worker in the US has been killed after they were shot by a customer for putting too much mayonnaise on a sandwich.
The shooting took place in Atlanta at around 18:30 local time, and left a 26-year-old female member of staff dead and a 24-year-old female member of staff injured and rushed to hospital. She remains in a critical condition.
The owner of the store, Willie Glenn, told FOX5 that the pair were sisters who had only started working at the store three weeks earlier.
He said the shooting had taken place as a result of a condiment dispute.
“Believe it or not, it was about too much mayonnaise on his sandwich,” Glenn said. “He decided to escalate the situation and from there that’s when all hell broke loose.”

“I don’t know what the world is coming to especially with our youth. They seem to be so hot-headed,” Glenn said.
