The ultimate career opportunity

Do you like roast dinners? Do you like Yorkshire puddings? Do you wish to escape the rat race and find a career that you can really get your teeth into?

(Get it? “Get your teeth into”, because it is food, eh? Nevermind).

Anyway, this could be the answer to all your prayers. A bar in Leeds is looking for a professional Yorkshire pudding taster.

The Botanist in West Yorkshire has placed an advert on Airtasker entitled “Need help perfecting my Yorkshire Puddings”.

Head chef Sebastian S. writes: “Do you love Yorkshire Puddings? Fancy yourself as the next Paul Hollywood?”

“Then I’ve got a task for you! We’re searching for one Yorkshire resident who knows what makes the perfect pud to help us perfect our signature Sunday Roast.

“One lucky candidate will be chosen to attend a session at The Botanist Trinity, where you’ll be served a wide range of Yorkshire puddings made using different methods, with gravy of course!”

The chosen candidate will be paid £250.

So how do you apply? Applicants need to reply explaining “the most memorable roast dinner you’ve ever had.”

They state that “the applicant with the story that makes us laugh or cry” will be picked for the task.
