Looks like the Europa Conference champions have picked up a taste of the continent on their travels

West Ham fans are being invited to eschew their usual drinking spots next season and indulge in the continental offering on show at a Swiss/ German chalet next to the London Stadium.

After cooly seeing off Florentine opposition in the Europa Conference final, the Hammers have the chance to import a slice of Europe without having to leave the confines of east London.

Located in Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, Haugen is Stratford’s alpine-inspired restaurant and rooftop overlooking the London Stadium.

Hammers fans are being urged to head to the unique pre and post-match venue for an ice-cool beer, including Kaufbeuren’s own ABK Hell Lager which is perfectly suited to Alpine boozing.

If you’re feeling peckish, there are pretzels, olives, mixed nuts and rice crackers to pair with your tipple.

But if you want the full Haugen experience, the Swiss-inspired menu has plenty to offer.

Highlights include the truly succulent Flat Iron Steak, alpine-inspired Mushroom Swiss Burger, and the classic Haugen Hot Dog, while Raclette Cheese with New Potatoes, French Fries, and Mash Potatoes are available as a side.

Apline classics such as pork schnitzel, chicken schnitzel and curry wurst are also on offer as well as a range of Swiss fondues ranging from the classic cheese fondue to a chocolate fondue for those with a sweet tooth.

West Ham kick off the new season against Chelsea on Sunday 20th August at the London Stadium, with a visit from Premier League champions Manchester City on 16th September.

To avoid disappointment fans are encouraged to prebook their reservation at Haugen on match days.
