If only...
A jar of White Chocolate Nutella has appeared on Instagram, and you are probably very excited to try it.
And judging by the comments on the post by Australian food blogger
Bruce Super Convenience, you would not be the only ones.

We have bad news for you. It is not real. Well, it is real, in the sense that the jar exists and there is white chocolate flavoured spread in there.
But it is not an official Nutella product. It is a homemade concoction, with a mocked-up jar.
"Let’s just take a moment to look at this picture, and appreciate this unicorn of a snack," explains the poster.

"This jar, with that logo so famous, is found on shelves ALL over the world... but alas, it’s always a dark brown colour... milk chocolate flavour. This one has a white - slightly golden - colour, and even look at the toast in the picture, it has a white spread on it! Ok, I’m going to be bombarded with messages and DM’s, so let me answer right now - no, this is not a real product, and no, you cannot buy your body’s weight of this product!"
But what does it taste like?
"The spread smells like a Kinder dream, and it tastes even better... It has the familiarity of a Kinder product, with a strong hazelnut influence, and creamy white-milk-chocolate (can that be a thing?!)."
There are a few recipes for homemade white chocolate Nutella online
if you look for them and you fancy making it yourself. There are also a few claims that it is for sale in Italy, and even a few photos on
Facebook. But we could not find concrete proof of official Nutella branded white chocolate spread being sold online.
We did however find
3kg buckets of Nutella for sale on Amazon, so it wasn't a completely fruitless search.
