McDonald’s is bringing back its ‘best ever’ burger

Ryan Price

Fans have previously launched petitions for its return.

Three fan-favourites will be returning to McDonald’s in the UK in early February, including a burger that’s previously been hailed as the ‘best ever’ by fans.

The Philly Cheese Stack – a fan favourite as made clear by many social media users – will make its much-anticipated return to the fast-food chain’s menu on 12 February.

The Philly Cheese Stack consists of two beef patties, cheese sauce, and cheese slices, as well as grilled and crispy onions and pickles, all served in a toasted bun.

McDonald’s fans were gutted at the end of 2023, when the popular burger was axed from its menu in the UK.

Throughout the last 12 months, petitions have been started to bring the snack back, with numerous posts shared on X begging for its reinstatement.

One person wrote: “That Philly Cheese Stack is the best limited-edition burger McDonald’s have ever done.”

While another commenter said: “That McDonald’s was life changing. Philly Cheese Stack is some real eats, plus the sticky toffee apple pie after.”

Alongside this savoury option, a few sweet treats will be available once more including last year’s Valentine’s special – the Raspberry and White Chocolate Pie

The twist on the chain’s classic apple pie is a ‘decadent’ dessert with crispy pink pastry (because, of course), filled with a smooth white chocolate ganache and a raspberry compote.

The pink pie proved a smash hit with customers in 2024, who hailed it as ‘dreamy’, ‘pretty’, and even went as far as to say their life was ‘complete’ because of the launch.

Also coming back is the Mars McFlurry, made with dairy ice cream and crunch chocolate-covered nougat pieces, topped with caramel sauce.

Both of these desserts will be available to order from February 12 until March 25, so you’ll want to visit between these dates to avoid missing out.
