It’s about time!
McDonald’s have confirmed the exact date one of their most iconic menu items is set to land on UK shores.
The fast food chain is known for its classic items such as the Big Mac, McFlurry and – of course – those golden French fries.
However, in recent years, Maccies fans in the US have gone crazy over one certain product that is yet to have been seen in the UK.
Last year, Brits were able to get their hands on the Grimace Shake – and now McDonald’s has confirmed another popular milkshake is set to be available.
The Shamrock Shake is a peppermint-flavoured milkshake, with a mint green colour to match.
First launched in the US in 1970, the beverage is available specifically around St Patrick’s Day.
It will land in UK stores in addition to the core milkshake flavours of vanilla, chocolate, banana and strawberry.
However, you will have to be quick to catch it.
The Shamrock Shake is set to land in McDonald’s UK on March 12, but is scheduled to have its final day on March 25.
Maccies fans can know that they’re doing some good when they order the new menu item too.
McDonald’s has confirmed that 20p from each Shamrock Shake sale will be donated to Ronald McDonald House Charities UK.
