Manchester restaurant combines pizza with Greggs and we wholeheartedly approve

Would you buy one?

Matt Tate

Have you ever wondered into Greggs for your obligatory hangover sausage roll and thought “it’s really time somebody put this on a pizza?”

Well you’re in luck, as Manchester-based pizza joint Crazy Pedro’s have done just that. The new ‘Dreggs’ pizza calls upon the pasty behemoth, essentially chopping up a Sausage & Bean melt – our personal favourite Greggs offering – and using it as a topping.

As you can see from the advertising board, they’ve even mimicked the Greggs branding, just so customers know what they’re getting into.

By combining two of the most popular fast food options, Crazy Pedro’s latest creation could be a godsend for the indecisive among you. That is, as long as you’re willing to head to Manchester to enjoy it. If the concept is successful, though, expect to see pastry-laden pizzas crop up everywhere.

In a nice touch, the Dreggs is decorated with a generous helping of brown sauce, and it’s priced at £15 for a whole/£3 for a slice. As for the calorie count? Probably best not to ask.

We want in.
