It's no secret that the price of Freddos has been on the rise for quite some time.
But calm your beans. A long overdue change has come. Freddos will no longer cost a staggering 30p.
Freddos, my dudes, are now going back to their heyday 2017 price of 25p. That's a saving of 5p. It's not much, but it's definitely something.
Cadbury said: “Following a full review of our Cadbury Dairy Milk Freddo product portfolio we have found a way to reduce the PMP of Cadbury Dairy Milk Freddo back to 25p and are happy to have been able to pass this saving on to customers."
The good news doesn't even stop at Freddos. Chomp bars, Fudge bars and Buttons are all reducing to 25p each as well.
Freddo enthusiasts might have noticed that this news comes mere weeks after Jeremy Corbyn announced that he would investigate whether there has been "excessive profit-making" on Freddos. Hmm.
Either way, this is a giant step in the right direction.
Let's get this glorious treat down to 10p by 2020.
