If you’re a Kinder Bueno fan, you’re in for a treat as the iconic chocolate bar’s comeback is officially complete.
Kinder Bueno’s dark version disappeared seven years ago from supermarket shelves, as Ferrero, Kinder’s owner, decided to discontinue it.
The triumphant return means it’s back in supermarkets in the UK for the first time since 2019.
In Tesco stores in the country, dark chocolate Buenos are now popping up, even though they’re not currently listed for sale on the Tesco GB site.

They can be found on Tesco Ireland’s website for €1.70, which is about £1.47.
The dark version of the chocolate bar debuted in the UK in more than ten years ago, when it launched as a limited-edition product in 2015.
For shoppers it became a favourite and it was brought back a year later, however it was ultimately axed after a few years in the shelves.
The return of the beloved item was teased for months, as the official Kinder Bueno account shared screenshots of people’s comments and replied: “Patience is a virtue”.
The regular size chocolate bar was no longer being produced, but smaller version of the dark Bueno was still available in packs of Kinder Bueno Mini Mix.
The dark chocolate Buenos feature the same classic smooth, milky hazelnut filling like in other Kinder Bueno bars, but the only difference is that it’s covered in dark chocolate.
The other two versions include the standard milk chocolate and the white, while the brand also launched ice creams in Britain.
