Aldi selling Yorkshire pudding stuffed with a two foot pig in blanket for Christmas

It's meant to be a side dish

Aldi hasn't held back on its range of festive products this year, with the highlight no doubt being a giant Yorkshire pudding stuffed with a two-foot long pig in blanket. The value supermarket’s latest festive offering features a 380g Yorkshire pudding with a giant pig in blanket coiled inside. The products has actually been released as a side, but let's be honest it could easily be demolished as a stand alone main. [caption id="attachment_368218" align="alignnone" width="1024"] Just look at it (Aldi)[/caption] The Yorkshire pudding is just one of a selection of new pigs-in-blankets-themed offerings from Aldi. The supermarket also has posh pork and truffle-flavoured pigs in blankets, which is truffle-infused sausage meat wrapped in smoked dry cure bacon. Then there is the fully loaded Wensleydale melt which is pigs in blankets filled with classic cheddar cheese and cranberries, if you really feel like treating yourself this Christmas. Aldi is also offering Candy Cane Shaped Pigs in Blankets and even a Pigs in Blanket Pizza, which features a sourdough based topped with Roma tomato sauce, pigs in blankets, a sweet seasonal cranberry sauce, British maple sliced turkey and a garlic and herb British pork crumb. All these items will be dropping in Aldi stores across the country throughout December, so make sure to keep your eyes peeled as the festive season draws nearer.
